How To Reduce Healthcare Costs
Let me just start by being frank.
Health Sick care for our families is not going to get any more affordable in the near future. Families across America are feeling this already.
Health insurance premiums have been on the rise now for the last two years, and they will continue to increase. (I can say this because our own family–who maybe goes to the doctor once every two years–has experienced the increase due to the new healthcare legislation.)
For those families who have children with ongoing medical needs (ie. allergies, asthma, diabetes, chronic illnesses), the average annual medical expenses are in the thousands.
“Food allergies in children…costing an average of $4,184 a child each year, with $931 coming straight out of parents’ pockets.”
“The average annual medical expense for youths with diabetes is $9,061…but the reality is that cost is dwarfed by complications down the road… a typical heart bypass costs about $60,000, and a year of dialysis, $90,000.”
These are just two examples of the real costs, and there is no reason to believe that these numbers will be going down.
Redirecting Your HealthCare Dollars
But what if you were able to take just a fraction of that cost and put it toward a nutritional program that actually helps to reduce your child’s overall medical expenses? What if while reducing your healthcare costs your child was also getting healthier? Now there’s a novel idea.
Perhaps the type of healthcare your child needs is one that is actually making them healthier–and reducing your time in the doctor’s offices each year.
Consider This: A child who is healthy and has the least number of doctors’ visits per year will also incur less medical expenses than a child who goes more often.
Focusing On Prevention And Healing
An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure.
By far, the greatest way to reduce future healthcare costs is to prevent illnesses from happening in the first place. This is the ideal–to catch things before they even happen.

Many families, however, don’t have the luxury of starting with a clean health slate. Many parents are looking for ways to reverse the path their child is already on.
This is where nutritional healing comes into play. It is an empowering concept backed by years of clinical research and thousands of testimonies. Check out my page on Getting Your Kids Off Meds for a list of great posts on this topic.
